Foundation

Founder of Juwelen Design since 2015, Ivy Teong, our Chief Designer based in Petaling Jaya, brings an elite corporate discipline transitioning from a career in the telecommunications and banking sectors to the world of jewelry design.

Her portfolio combines multiples international award-winning design in Italy and America, formally graduated Jewelry Design, Pearl and Applied Jewelry Professional from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), with other relevant credentials from the Gemological Association of Australia (GAA), the Gemological Institute of Thailand (GIT) and Manufacturing Art specialization from Jewellery & Gemmological Science, Malaysia (JGS). Supplementing our vision is Prof. Dr. Zahari Zain Sulaiman, an FGA (Great Britain) and GIA Graduate Gemologist with over 40 years of practice.

For the past decade Ivy designs bespoke and hand drawn luxury concepts. As the sole master designer behind the atelier, she is now bringing her industry expertise to global clients. Ivy's inspirational source is greatly from the nature. She deconstructs organic elements from geometries and botanical outlines to raw landscapes to infuse seasonal collections with a powerful narrative soul that captures consumer emotion and elevates brand identity.
