A mother's love when poured unconditionally will build trust and a foundation for emotional intimacy between a mother and child. A mother's love is also said to be the most powerful force on Earth where every child who grows up in love and the belief in the power of love can potentially add beauty and compassion back into an often cruel and ugly world. Imagine a tide of violence can be changed with every kiss, cuddle or even a thoughtful response to one's child. This pendant symbolises a Mother's Love in all aspects of a child's life. -Gemstones and Diamonds- There are also rings with a mixture of several different gems and they add to the uniqueness of the ring. The most common gems are the classic Diamonds, Colored Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies, Emeralds, Topaz and Pearls. -Stone Shape- A gem can be shaped into many forms to fit the ring perfectly. Some opt to choose the shape of the stone first, then fit the setting to the stone. The various cuts are Princess cut, Radiant cut, Round cut, Oval cut, Emerald cut and Pear shape. -Budget- The price of the ring will not define the beauty of the ring and most certainly will not devalue the love that is poured into the ring. -Personal Preference- In selecting a gemstone, keep in mind the wearer's personal preferences. A person's preference will most likely affect the elements as a whole but mainly the setting, the band style, and the gemstone. AFO Radio Malaysia Media Release

Ever wonder what you should look out for when deciding on a ring? Here are some key things to keep in mind! Designing a Ring Key Elements 1/2 -Setting- Easily one of the most important element in designing a ring. For rings, a setting is the metal base that holds the gem and other decorative elements crafted into the ring. A setting supports and secures the gem while adding decorative appeal to the ring. There are various styles of setting, among them are Bezel, Prong, Tension, Gypsy (Flush), French, Channel, Pave (Bead) and Wrap. -Precious Metal- Each metal has its own pros and cons in terms of pricing, durability and perceived beauty. The metals such as Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold, Platinum, Sterling Silver, Titanium and Two Tone. -Band Style- The band is the part of the ring that wraps around the finger. The overall design of the ring relies on the width, style and shape of the band. Some band styles are the classic wide band, the more delicate twisted band, and the graceful split shank. -Lifestyle- Knowing and understanding the lifestyle of the wearer is an important factor. Think about how often the ring will be worn, how active the wearer is and how willing will they be to care for their jewelry. The lifestyle is most important for deciding on the ring setting and the band style. |
