Silver Award 2021 Our Chief Designer is proudly present the Silver Award 2021 received from MUSE Design Awards, New York for the jewelry collection of M19 - Silver Lining Beneath. The recent award winning, Silver Award from competition at MUSE Design Awards, USA, M19 is our jewelry designer historical collection in remembrance of year 2020 Covid 19 health crisis. Her inspiration drawn from a piece of protection that we need to wear daily. The surgical mask. It hinted fear and discomfort. Instead of viewing it this way, she shifted the perspective. Thus, the creation was first born in April 2020 with a futuristic look. It carries hope. There is a glitter side just like the silver lining on every cloud. Muse Design USA 2020 will not repeat so do M19 - Jewelry Designer Historical Collection by Ivy Teong. She being the only Malaysian winner for Fashion category is proud to receive a recognition in Silver Award, from the recent 2021 international competition held by MUSE Design Awards, USA with 3,942 entries all over the world and 44 jurors from 23 countries.  Our Chief Designer recently has been awarded as Associate by World Design Consortium who grants lifetime honorific designer titles algorithmically for the multi-award-winning designers solely based on their creative design talents and merits. The selection is based on international juried awards, blind peer-review processes and criteria-based evaluation mechanisms. As Ivy Teong, our Founder/Chief Designer recently won International Pearl Design Competition (IPDC) famed Luster Award by Culture Pearl Association of America (CPAA), read where her design inspiration came from for this winning piece. "Sun Earth Moon Pendant by Ivy Teong was inspired by our solar system. Last couple of months I heard a big news of few commercial factories in my country were throwing toxic waste to the river. As a person whom love nature, I felt tremendous heart ache to hear the news and this is not the first time happened. I felt so restless and frustrated because as an individual I can’t do much to save the situation. That moment, I imagined what will happen to our Planet if human continue to do this to Mother Nature eventually impacting our Planet and Universe. I designed this pendant with South Sea pearl golden representing the Sun, and Tahitian pearl green and black representing Earth and small Akoya pearl white representing the Moon. Diamond is set representing the Stars from the Universe. This design best set in white gold to portray the meaning of each representation. I hope the wearer whom wear this pendant be reminded how valuable is our Planet and the surrounding." When I m personally announcing this, it is rather unbelievable and still overwhelmed but yet happy to say I won another international competition from International Pearl Design Competition (IPDC) awarded Luster Award by Culture Pearl Association of America, judged by Cartier, Devon Fine Jewelry and National Jeweler.
