Sometime last month I walked passed a book store and attracted by a coloring book with an interesting cover. On a rush, I flipped over and saw Baju Kebaya, CheongSam and Roti Canai. Back in my mind, Independance Day and Malaysia Day are coming soon. My country flag has inspired me for the creation of Warna ‘Gem’ ilang of Malaysia Jewelry Collection by IvyT featuring earrings and pendant with Blue Sapphire, Red Ruby, Yellow Citrine and White Pearl. Gemini Double Nature Ring

When think about dual personality, Gemini is the one. Gemini born in 21 May – 20 June is a caring twins. Because of the inconsistent nature, one day can like something and the next day may like something completely opposite. As for emotion, at one point of time can have dual feelings and it can be rather confusing. Pink Fantasy Ring

Pink Tourmaline, Pyrope Garnet and Purple Spinel vastly set on the ring to create a hint of contrast yet harmonious. A piece of small rough stone and a random placement way of the stones was set to portray nature with mixture of multiple shape such as round, oval and pear, cabochon and facet. Just like you are wearing nature, touching nature or feeling nature. And nature is unique, unsymmetrical and unpredictable.

As for the pendant, the placement and choice of stones, shape, cut are slightly different. They consists of Pink Opal, Pink Rhodonite, Pyrope Garnet and Pink Tourmaline. When wear together with earrings it is still harmonious even with slight variation.

Do you think pink is a lovely colour? In this set of jewelry, the pendant and earrings main stone consists of Pink Opal and Pink Rhodonite with pink gold (rose gold). Supplement stones will be Tourmaline, Garnet and Spinel. The color of pink was chosen because of the admiration of pink flower such as cherry blossom and peach blossom. The inspiration also drawn from not only the flower, but the details such as the petal, bud and blooming flowers that made up the color and shape combinations.

Another combination is the choice of cabochon and facet cut stones which made up a balance reflection or you may call understatement because opaque stone create unique luster and facet stone create light reflection. Each type of cut has its beauty and in this design when put up together, it creates a different outcome. In this jewelry design variation it is definitely a perfect choice to use pink (rose) gold base for the great matching finished.
