Blue Daisy Exhibition
World's most international design accolade, A' Design Award and Competition has just awarded, the Blue Daisy Multi functional Earrings (Silver Award), Blue Daisy Multi functional Ring (Bronze Award) and Blue Daisy Multi functional Pendant (Iron Award) designed by Ivy Teong, Founder and Chief Designer of Juwelen Design. On 28 June 2019, our Founder and Chief Designer of Juwelen Design received her award on the stage from A' Design and Competition from her latest project the Blue Daisy collection. The La Notte Premio A, red carpet award ceremony gala night was held in Teatro Sociale, Como, Italy. "This was my proudest moment as a jewelry designer. Why engagement ring? The tradition believed started back ancient Egyptian and Rome times. You found the right one, your love of your life. The man will propose to the woman he loves with an engagement ring as a symbol of love commitment, basically if the woman said yes, she is engaged to you. It is convinced that a diamond ring directly reflected the longevity of their marriage as diamond is the hardest stone in the world ties with famous slogan “Diamond is Forever”. However, buying a diamond or choosing a wedding ring require some knowledge. Regardless the amount you invest on the ring, all you wish for is to get something significant representing the eternity of relationship. It is indeed an exciting moment until the big day comes. This piece inspired by the trees she saw near her house. After observing for a moment, she admired the outer and inner patterns of the these leaves that stacked together. As she always bring her sketch book along, part of designer habit or else she uses her mobile phone. She quickly sketched a piece of necklace. I basically use Aloe Vera everyday as a cleanser and mask. Aloe vera meant for anti-inflamation, moisturizing and recovery. But it has an additional benefits to me where I turned it into my jewelry inspiration. These are some sketches I made for the night and the night I woke up at 4am.
