Choosing a Diamond 3/4 : Clarity
Choosing a Diamond 3/4 : Clarity Diamond clarity relates internal or surface flaws of a diamond. Most diamonds have small flaws that are usually not visible at a glance. The best selection would be a rarer Flawless (FL) or Internally Flawless (IF) clarity grade. Clarity Grades : Flawless (FL), Internally Flawless (IF), Very Very Slightly Included (VVS), Very Slightly Included (VS), Slightly Included (SI), Included Diamonds (I1) and Heavily Included Diamonds (I3 - I2) Jeweler's Tip! Reminder, every diamond is unique! So a little imperfection adds character to your diamond, so try choosing a diamond with a smaller flaw and one that does not affect the clarity of the diamond. Best would be a diamond in the Slightly Included (SI) or higher clarity grade as they have lesser or minimal flaws.

Choosing a Diamond 2/4 : Color
Choosing a Diamond 2/4 : Color A diamond with the highest quality is one that is colorless and quality diminishes the more the diamond's color is visible with a diamond of the lowest quality being yellowish. A different scale is used when it comes to naturally colored diamonds, which are unique and rare making them more valuable, but they are only 1 in every 10,000 diamonds. Color Grades : Colorless (D - F), Near Colorless (G - J), Faint (K - M), Very Light (N - R), Light (S - Z)Jeweler's Tip! Best to select diamonds higher than a grade H as a colorless or near colorless diamond is of the best quality. Choosing a Diamond 1/4 : Cut
Choosing a Diamond 1/4 : Cut A poorly cut diamond can seem smaller that it actually is or appear more dull which would ruin the clarity and color of the natural diamond. The diamond cut is graded according to the diamond's brightness, fire and scintillation. Cut Grades : Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair and Poor Jeweler's Tip! Opt for a cut grade of Very Good or Ideal for better diamond quality. The Making of "Wonder Winnie" for Datin Dr. Winnie Loo necklace by Ivy Teong, Chief Designer of Juwelen Design.
Wonder Winnie Necklace
“Wonder Winnie” necklace by Ivy Teong was inspired by Datin Winnie Loo, not only an influential hairstylist behind A Cut Above Salons and Academy, but also an entrepreneur and author whom hold on to an amazing principles of life, strong leadership, continuous learning and dare to dream. Her favourite quote “No Mountain Is Too High To Climb” one day had triggered my thought. She is a very inspirational, hands-on and yet humble person. Because she is such a wonderful woman, I associated her initial “W”innie is Wonderful, just like a Wonder Woman, thus Wonder Winnie was created. The choice of pearl was used as one of her favourite gem and “W” with a pearl set inside and gold color was chosen, also carry a hidden meaning of “golden crown” representing her glorious elegant status. Frozen Rose Droplet was from a poem which is very poetry presenting dozens of frozen flowers in a secret garden. It was mesmerizing because only selected winter country we can see that. The one captured my attention was rose with half frozen and with drops of half frozen water. Then came the idea of combination the rose pink, water aqua and ice white, therefore, the used of Rose Quartz and Aquamarine with white stone are the perfect match complement with Rose Gold metal.
