Choosing a Diamond 3/4 : Clarity
​Diamond clarity relates internal or surface flaws of a diamond. Most diamonds have small flaws that are usually not visible at a glance. The best selection would be a rarer Flawless (FL) or Internally Flawless (IF) clarity grade.
Clarity Grades : Flawless (FL), Internally Flawless (IF), Very Very Slightly Included (VVS), Very Slightly Included (VS), Slightly Included (SI), Included Diamonds (I1) and Heavily Included Diamonds (I3 - I2)
Jeweler's Tip! Reminder, every diamond is unique! So a little imperfection adds character to your diamond, so try choosing a diamond with a smaller flaw and one that does not affect the clarity of the diamond. Best would be a diamond in the Slightly Included (SI) or higher clarity grade as they have lesser or minimal flaws.
