Heritage Pendants
Generally, Jade can be classified into Type A (natural and untreated or only surface waxing), Type B (bleached and impregnated with the resin) and Type C (dyed colouring). Normally, a Type C jade undergoes a Type B treatment to get an additional colouring effect. According to the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Jade grading is based on the colour (saturation and tone), cut, clarity, texture and transparency and each criteria has its own grade.
