Sun Earth Moon Design Process

Our Chief Designer, Ivy Teong, a person who loves nature, saw the news about the dumping sites, has no other way to express but in her jewelry drawing. The Sun, Earth, Moon Pendant, later became an international competition winning piece, honored a Luster Award by Cultured Pearl Association of America. She also extended her creativity with a matching earring which she felt complete now.

Gemstones Energy

Why it is believed gemstones has energy?
Gemstones came from molten lava within the Earth’s core before gradually rising up to the surface. Through various chemical exchanges, pressures and natural processes, they eventually end up in the top layer. That’s where we discover them, usually while mining or digging. The Earth is one of the most powerful natural sources of energy and so the gemstone energy is naturally powerful.

Designing a Ring Key Elements 2/2
-Gemstones and Diamonds-
There are also rings with a mixture of several different gems and they add to the uniqueness of the ring. The most common gems are the classic Diamonds, Colored Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies, Emeralds, Topaz and Pearls.
-Stone Shape-
A gem can be shaped into many forms to fit the ring perfectly. Some opt to choose the shape of the stone first, then fit the setting to the stone. The various cuts are Princess cut, Radiant cut, Round cut, Oval cut, Emerald cut and Pear shape.
-Budget-
The price of the ring will not define the beauty of the ring and most certainly will not devalue the love that is poured into the ring.
-Personal Preference-
In selecting a gemstone, keep in mind the wearer's personal preferences. A person's preference will most likely affect the elements as a whole but mainly the setting, the band style, and the gemstone.

Frozen Rose Droplet

Frozen Rose Droplet was from a poem which is very poetry presenting dozens of frozen flowers in a secret garden. It was mesmerizing because only selected winter country we can see that. The one captured my attention was rose with half frozen and with drops of half frozen water. Then came the idea of combination the rose pink, water aqua and ice white, therefore, the used of Rose Quartz and Aquamarine with white stone are the perfect match complement with Rose Gold metal. Collection designed by Ivy Teong.

Design Quote

There is no right or wrong about design, it is all about design elements. There is no right or wrong about design, it is all about design elements. When we speak about design, design is a very subjective thing. We cannot say which design is right, which design is wrong. It is all about elements you choose to put together. As long as the design overall looks harmonious and pleasant. By Ivy Teong.

Leaves Necklace

This piece inspired by the trees she saw near her house. After observing for a moment, she admired the outer and inner patterns of the these leaves that stacked together. As she always bring her sketch book along, part of designer habit or else she uses her mobile phone. She quickly sketched a piece of necklace. Rather a big one but can portray the volume of the leaves. Sketches and inspiration base on nature by Ivy Teong, Chief Designer.
