-Setting-
Easily one of the most important element in designing a ring. For rings, a setting is the metal base that holds the gem and other decorative elements crafted into the ring. A setting supports and secures the gem while adding decorative appeal to the ring. There are various styles of setting, among them are Bezel, Prong, Tension, Gypsy (Flush), French, Channel, Pave (Bead) and Wrap.
-Precious Metal-
Each metal has its own pros and cons in terms of pricing, durability and perceived beauty. The metals such as Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold, Platinum, Sterling Silver, Titanium and Two Tone.
-Band Style-
The band is the part of the ring that wraps around the finger. The overall design of the ring relies on the width, style and shape of the band. Some band styles are the classic wide band, the more delicate twisted band, and the graceful split shank.
-Lifestyle-
Knowing and understanding the lifestyle of the wearer is an important factor. Think about how often the ring will be worn, how active the wearer is and how willing will they be to care for their jewelry. The lifestyle is most important for deciding on the ring setting and the band style.

Diamond Ring Setting

Illusion setting vs prong setting in diamond ring, wedding ring or engagement ring.
Illusion setting was invented by Oscar Massin, from France back in the late 1860s. This is a jewelry design or technique of a prong setting with a shiny metal plate around the girdle of a faceted gemstone namely popular one are diamond ring, wedding ring or engagement ring, maximizing the size of the diamond. It diffuses the outline of the diamond causing the enhancing effect. 

Eternity Ring

Today, eternity rings still convey the representative significance of undying and endless love and are generally given on a unique event. In this workshop, you will learn the introduction to different type of pearls, beads, ornaments, tools and materials used in bracelet making. During the making process, you will acquire basic skills of designing, beading, crimping, looping and other techniques in creating your personalize piece.

Personalize Veil by Kathy Foo, I am a Bride Wedding
In this hands-on workshop, you will custom veils. you will get to know a bit more about veils. The different types of veil (not just for weddings but for other special occasion as well), it's functions and the different ways to wear them. During the making process, you will learn some basic sewing techniques, as well as how to embellish with beautiful laces, pearls, ribbons, beading and other finishing details. Veiling materials will be precut with two lengths to choose from: a finger tip length or a birdcage veil.
